East of Mhamid

As the sun casts a warm, golden glow over the rolling dunes, two figures leave behind a trail of footprints, the only mark of their passage through the pristine sands. The soft, curving shapes of the dunes create a harmonious balance between shadow and light, and the scene feels almost otherworldly in its quiet serenity. This image captures a fleeting moment of human presence in an untouched landscape, where every step leaves a trace, but the desert remains vast and eternal.

About the Artist

Mikael Kennedy is a photographer whose work embodies a restless spirit and a deep sense of wanderlust, capturing the raw, unvarnished beauty of life on the road. As the founder of the fashion house King Kennedy, he seamlessly blends his artistic vision with the world of style, creating imagery that feels both timeless and contemporary. Known for documenting the forgotten corners of America, his photography evokes solitude and quiet reflection, each frame filled with weathered landscapes and fleeting moments. Mikael’s use of natural light and film lends a dreamlike, nostalgic quality to his work, making it feel like a collection of found memories from another era. Whether behind the lens or at the helm of his fashion brand, Kennedy’s work is about the search—the roads less traveled and the stories that linger just beyond the horizon.
