ARTWORK
Our frames are 100% solid wood, made by hand. The black and white finishes are radiata pine and the natural finish is maple. Due to the custom nature of the manufacturing process, there may be slight variations in dimension and/or craftsmanship.
Our largest sizes, VI, V, VI are framed in a premium shadowbox.
We use 99% UV Acrylic- this filters up to 99% of UV rays to protect the integrity of your artwork. It is also lightweight, shatter resistant and will not distort the artwork. When it comes to showcasing and protecting artwork, acrylic glass leaves regular glass in the dust. Here’s why we always lean towards it:
Light as Air: With acrylic, you get a material that feels like it’s barely there. It’s lighter than glass, which means handling it is a breeze and you're not staring down potential disaster every time you move or mount your work.
Built to Last: Unlike regular glass, acrylic doesn’t shatter under pressure. It's resilient, a silent insurance against the unexpected—whether that’s an accidental bump or an unpredictable crowd at a gallery opening.
Guarding the Colors: The real showstopper is its UV protection. Acrylic glass can be a savior for preserving the integrity of the art, shielding it from the harsh reality of sunlight that can dull or distort the colors over time.
Clearer Than Clear: Acrylic’s optical clarity is top-notch, delivering true color and vibrancy without glare robbing you of the experience. Regular glass just doesn’t compare when it comes to how real the art feels behind it.
Undisturbed Views: You won’t catch acrylic glass distorting what you see. No ripples, no waviness—just a clean, uninterrupted view of the work exactly as it was intended to be seen.
Acrylic isn’t just a better choice; it’s the only choice when your art deserves the best.
Here at COVET, we use Hahnemule Photo Rag. Its a heavy, bright white paper with a smooth, matte surface. A true photographer's choice. When it comes to printing photos that command attention and stand the test of time, Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper is the go-to. Here’s why I choose it every time:
Texture That Speaks: This isn’t just paper; it’s a canvas with a soul. The fine, smooth surface with that subtle, almost tangible texture elevates an image, pulling out details you didn't even know were there.
Built for Eternity: Hahnemühle isn’t messing around when it comes to longevity. Made from 100% cotton and acid-free, it’s museum-grade, which means your prints won’t fade or yellow like yesterday’s news. They’ll last lifetimes.
Colors That Pop: The paper boasts a color gamut that doesn’t just reproduce hues—it makes them leap off the surface. Deep blacks, striking contrasts, and true-to-life tones make this the ultimate companion for high-impact visuals.
Glare-Free Zone: That matte finish isn’t just about looking good—it’s about enhancing the experience. No annoying reflections, just pure, undiluted art. It lends a polished, professional touch that can’t be ignored.
Sharp and Detailed: The ink absorption is like nothing else. You get razor-sharp lines, flawless details, and an overall crispness that holds up even under the closest scrutiny.
A Versatile Powerhouse: Whether it’s a high-drama black-and-white shot, a saturated color explosion, or a nuanced fine art reproduction, Hahnemühle Photo Rag handles it all like a pro, delivering quality that screams excellence.
In short, if you’re serious about your prints and how they’re perceived, you don’t just use any paper. You use Hahnemühle Photo Rag.
